The Fatis Mirajin is a massive crystal hundreds of thousands of years old-- a powerful artifact originally created as a catalyst for alchemical transformations. It is responsible for all mirajin energy in the waking world today, as well as the creation of the leupaks and the Chapters themselves.

When the Fatis Mirajin was first created, it was a stone no larger than a man's fist. It has increased exponentially in size over the millennia, feeding on the vitae of the planet and every creature it comes in contact with-- and replacing them with dream-energy drawn from the Reverie.

Unchecked, this process will eventually transform Valenth into a world of dreams and chaos, ultimately snuffing out all vitae and ending the cycle of life permanently.

The stone's exact location is unknown, but it is widely believed to be hidden somewhere within Chimre or Mimore.

The elemental energy mirajin was named after the Fatis Mirajin crystal; prior to this, dream-energy was unknown.
