Valenth

Perhaps the most fluid, variable and flexible of all non-Revère races, the Humans are well-recognized throughout Valenth and many other as-of yet uncharted worlds. Despite this, many other inhabitants of Valenth argue that the race is, left to its own devices, horribly plain in appearances.
Lacking horns, long ears, glowing eyes, claws, fangs, wings, scales, feathers, fur (save on some particularly hirsute individuals), and so on, one could say there is not much at all to write home about.

But the Human advantage is not their impressive physical displays--or lack thereof--but their remarkable sense of self, as well as the immense capacity for knowledge and individuality they possess; after all, it was the Humans that first discovered and announced the existence of Science. Even today, the most scientifically-advanced societies on Valenth are manmade.

Humans tend to stand in the general area of 5 to 6 feet in height (with individuals going above or below those ranges often based on genetics), with skin colors seen varying from a pale milky tone to a rich ebony. Hair and eye hues are just as assorted, though Humans are known for using Science to alter these in one way or another.

Humans do not gravitate toward any particular calling in life; on the contrary, they seem to journey all walks of life with equal interest.
