Miracrystal is the pure essence of mirajin energy in physical form. It is brilliant and iridescent, white, violet, blue, or pink in hue, and extremely resilient.

Unaltered, miracrystal hums softly; living tissue exposed directly to it mutates, while inanimate objects slowly crystallize. It can be safely handled with thick, specially-made drakeskin or leupakskin gloves.

Pure miracrystal is useable as a power source for machinery which requires a large, easily-replaceable energy supply, particularly in SRO-engineered zeppelins and ray weapons. It can be harvested from tunnels and caves of boralion dragons as well as from their hides, and from inanimate objects and plants exposed to high amounts of mirajin.

Due to the amount of energy found in pure miracrystal, it is unsuitable for smaller projects. However, used miracrystal cores from large machinery are never thrown away; instead, they are split into smaller depleted miracrystal fragments for use in things such as varanius power cores or dreamshards, for example.
