Old, wild, and minimally-settled Northern Dreamsong is the home of the ever-warring smallfae tribes that call it their home. Pixies, and sprites inhabit the forest trees and canopies while goblins and kobolds build their huts and dens on the floor. Far beneath, the elusive and mysterious enxiryixx have tunneled out their intricate hives.

While the occasional elf or silisk makes their home here unharmed (in fact, the silisk city of Faerwethr is the only large settlement to be found in Northern Dreamsong), the smallfae do not take kindly to tresspassing Tall Folk, and can prove especially cruel or vicious when driving them away.

Of particular note in this region are the majestic black lions, possessing deep red pelts and dark manes. Smallfae are particularly fond of enchanting them into fearsome shapes to scare away intruders or maul a rival tribe.
