Valenth

Schalle is a wild region with an ecosystem much like that of Aensdoun, but much colder in the south. It is also populated primarily by Aeneski, though these are either Dremish, or related to the much more amicable Anshe of millenia past.

While some of the same species make appearances here, they tend to be larger, stockier, shaggier and often more suited for colder weather and traversing mountainous terrain.

Unlike Aensdoun, which stays wild because its sentient populace discourages visitors and modernization, Schalle is a natural sanctuary thanks to the Firestarters, who use it as a base of operations for all matters involving ecology.

Despite Schalle's close proximity to Chimre, its borders are protected by a powerful wall of vital energy.
