Elliot Christoph stood at the podium within the museum's Grand Hall, gazing down upon the audience gathered at her feet. Taking a deep breath, she paused to gently stroke her younger brother's scaly head before beginning at last.
Thank you for coming to our Open House, everyone-- I hope you've enjoyed yourselves in our institution tonight. As was mentioned earlier, I have a very special announcement to make tonight.
We of the Somnambulist Project-- the organization funding this museum, as you all know-- have made it our absolute duty to serve the people in any way the scientific community could.
With the recent tragedy in Lucsus, many people have been left with uncertain futures. It's for that reason that we are opening our doors to all those who might be seeking work and a place to stay, not just for the people of Soril, but for everyone.
While the Somnambulist Project is largely a scientific organization, we have many positions for people of all walks of life and a variety of talents and skill levels.
All we ask is that you come willing to learn, and willing to lend a hand to those who may need it most.
The audience broke into brisk applause.

The Grand Library
Jetersborough, Dreamsong
The soft rustle of paper rose eyes from their books; several courtesans filed down into the main library area, carefully tacking leaflets to the walls, occasionally handing them to curious people who decided to stand and ask what was afoot.
Official Notice
The Court would like to announce that we are seeking knowledgable individuals for apprenticeship within our ranks.
Interested parties may seek a senior Courtesan in the Grand Library for details on how to join.
Particularly helpful applicants will recieve compensation for their time and effort.
Thank you.

Laps-Du-Ment, Chimre
People flowed like water through the busy city streets, briefcases and knapsacks and lunchtins in hand as they made ther way.
The public loudspeakers suddenly blared to life, the ping of the familiar harpischord jingle announcing an incoming message, spoken in the warm, proud and familiar voice of the country's leader.
The Silent Rose has had a positive influence on the lives of millions, from the food you eat and the clothes you wear to the ground-breaking medicines and care that keeps your loved ones in tip-top shape-- and now, YOU can become part of the fold!
We're more than just scientists; we're farmers, workers, artisans and everyday people working to make a difference in our world.

Konshtul Village
Boar's Wood, Dreamsong
The earth itself seemed to rumble in time to the sound of silisk drummers as they played a driving rhythm on the coebhcouh-- a traditional instrument made for sharing.
The lizard-people wrapped warm wool blankets around shoulders and handed out bowls of steaming broth to their unexpected guests.
The Firestarters had been here for a few days now, seeking shelter as they quietly wondered what came next. Elves, humans, fae and even primal elemental creatures had traveled across oceans to find safety; their lands had been snatched away from them and burned to ash.
They were welcome here for as long as they needed the shelter, either way; the tribe elders were happy to aid their new friends.
Suddenly, an explosion of flame lit the clearing, sending people scattering for cover and bringing the music to a stop.
Silisk, human and fae looked on in astonishment as a golden bird flew in circles overhead, trumpeting mightily.
"A sign from the spirits themselves!" a silisk breathed, watching as the creature landed on a small stone, dipping its head. "What would you ask from us, O mighty phoenix?"
"Hark!" the bird cried. "The time has come to regroup. Come, and bring those you hold dear who would stand strong in the name of life itself!
Valenth needs heroes-- The Flamekeeper awaits!"

In Valenth, Factions are powerful organizations that significantly impact the world in some capacity. There are lots of factions in the world, but players are allowed to join four of the most influential; The Somnambulist Project, The Firestarters, The Silent Rose Organization, and The Court.
There are many reasons for choosing a particular faction, like exclusive forums and special rewards such as trinkets, backgrounds and brand new adoptable species-- but CHOOSE WISELY! Most factions require you to win their favor before you can join-- and once you've joined one, defecting isn't easy!
In order to join a faction and reap the rewards, first you need to earn reputation with it!
Each of the four factions grant reputation in different ways via feeding adoptables; experiment and trade notes with your friends in the Factions Lobby to learn more!
Good luck!

Is it a bug? Or is it meant to be that way now? I fed like 3000 thousand of adoptables and the krus decreasing makes me nervous
