I hope you like my entry Deo.
I worked really hard on it.

It also bears a striking resembelence to Anom, but that is because I think of him when I think of Leupaks.

Yeah, I personally think Anom's the most amazing leupak so far.

I just entered... good luck everyone! I've been reading some entries and they're pretty fantastic. Unlike mine. xD

I would assume that this contest is like the last one - all entries don't get judged until the end, so you can edit as much as you want. But don't quote me...

I find this contest interesting and fun. I'd enter, but my imagination can't seem to work right with the template and all... Wierd eh? Which sucks cause the prize is rather... extravagant. It's fun to see all the leupaks people are making, contests really bring out the creative side of people. I like it when people make candy leupaks. XD

*bows head shamefull* I may have gone a little leupak crazy... But I think I'm done... For now.

Edit: I have entered 11 so far. I think maybe I'll spend some time fleshing them out a little more before I enter anymore. Hope everyone is having fun!

Entered two! They're pretty tied to one another in terms of backstory so they are pretty similar to one another. Hopefully I'll get some time to do some sketches of the two before the contest is up.

Looks like we're opening a little Anom fanclub, huh? I'm in xD

As for the contest, I submitted three leups so far... haven't had time to put in the fourth, might do it today... and have the fifth concept in my head, but this is going to be damn difficult to describe >.>

Good luck to everyone! ;3

I remember that line... now let me just find it...

But still, someone could make up an Earless mutation... at least I think so... ^^;

Does anyone have a picture (perhaps an existing Valenth Leup?) at hand to show an example what exactly the body type "Storybook" means? I am not sure I understood it correctly ;)

My jaw practically fell from my face when I saw the prize. I knew that there would eventually be a Clockwork Boralion as a contest prize. I'd love to have one. :P

And anyone can answer this, but...would you consider this contest just as easy for people who don't know much about the lore as compared to those who know a lot? Never really got into it when I first joined...and I do regret that.

I myself have no memory for lore, even though I love reading it... and yet, I managed to come up with a few ideas :P I think the concept itself is more important than lore knowledge... of course, that helps if you want to write a full-scale bio of your leupak as a character engaged is some affairs or society, mine are so far rather wild ^^;

So, no one ever drew a Storybook-bodied leupak? :( (not really in need of it, just very curious :D)

I know I properbly should put this here but this is my idea, I just want to see what other people will think of her. She is Venomborne and has no name yet. I was thinking Draeko (draco). Because I have my own dragon humanoid race called Caedus with multiple wings and the ability to control a element they where born with, I was wondering what a leupak would look like if it had Caedu features. And so she was born. I'll hopefully have the finished version for the actual contest. Her front hands will have long claws.

Lol. I realised while I was drawing the picture that she looks like a boralion with 8 wings. XD

One would think that, but she's been a leupak for that long she's sort of use to it. Safer than being hunted down by renegades and killed, since she was once a high ranking dragon before a war.

Oh gosh, the picture's been butchered.

Not that hotter then a human, roughly 36- 39 degrees Celsius. I have no idea what that is in Fahrenheit. I have so my dragon race, Caedus, have different energy requirements, same anatamy but much stronger, heart especially. It could beat less but pump more around the body. I don't think that possible in a leupak, so she may have to eat more often, that or she needs Marijin energy as a food sorce. Caedus can draw energy from their surrounding element. (eg. A water Caedu will draw energy from a nearby stream, and etc.)

*Is feeling strangely technical at the moment.

Thats quite high O_o How high temperatures Farenheit can these eggs stand?
and if they draw upon Mirajiin do they gain more energy to resist?

In Fahrenheit: no higher than a 90 which would be about 32 degrees Celsius (whoo go mobile phone convertor). They are resistant to the mutation effect, maybe very slowly getting resistant to the marijin completely.

If this is too much for a leupak, even a vemonborne one, I completely understand and I'll redesign her.

Lets just say the leupak was their versoin of insane and hungry.

Actually I just found this in the Lore...
Leupaks will never lay in a dragon, as a curious and unexplained fatal genetic glitch occurs when draconic DNA is introduced into a leupak.

Draeko was changed into a leupak. Some blood hungry, insane leupak thought she was human because she walks on attacked her only to be killed, but that leupak had a double effect vemon mutation, turning Draeko into a leupak. And yes I think she is very lucky.

I'm going to use one of my other dragons from the same race. (they don't belong to Valenth, but they do have a warp gate on their own planet.) They're the same body wise except for Draeko having more wings, different colours and different tail. link

So the transformation wasn't complete. I only made her as an experiment, I wasn't expecting her to be brillant anyway.

Oh you mean she had venom injected...if thats the case then you can make a leupak but it can't be Shardborne since she technically still has draconic DNA.... you could just make it based off that other dragon race with Venombourne...

hm okay, so it is nothing fixed as I understand of this? I just helped myself inbetween by adding a rough sketch to my leupak with what I understood a storybook body is, asking to imagine I put the right type of body in case that one is not storybook ;)

Exactly! Very little about leupaks is set in stone, so as long as you take care of those things, you're really only limited by what you can imagine. :)

Finally, I finished up my visual reference for my first entry, now that entry is pretty much done, though I may go back on it and edit it or add some more back story to it, other than that I'm going to get started on my second entry ^^ . Also, I agree I quite enjoyed reading peacock's entry, it's definitely unique in how he made his entries bio a rhyme.

Oh well... I just quietly hope that I'll have luck and one of my four leups will get me the 5th place... :< I ran out of inspiration, so these'll have to do... :D

I think your leups are really good. I see you in the top 2 x3. I esp. liked the designs and I'm not just saying that.

I can't get my visual right...and don't worry, I ran out of inspiration too. If I make any more leups, itll be a waste of time. Im not even kidding. I was this close to making a toothbrush leupak. this close.
